Mendittorosa

Often we use metaphors from the world around us to describe perfumes for the lack of scent specific vocabulary. However, Mendittorosa create perfume metaphors of the world. It’s the other way around - they try to represent notions of time, destiny, luck, fate, divine, etc. with the rhythms and the choice of materials in their cosmic formulas and this is why we love them..

The house has 5 ranges dedicated to various themes:

1. Talismans – extraits to protect and guide the wearer (Talento, Sirio, Le Mat, Nettuno, Sogno Reale and Osang);

2. the Duo – the beginning (the past) and the present (South and North);

3. the Time without Time  - rituals, as well divine and sacred matters, (Archetipo, Lacura and Rituale);

4. the Trilogy – the unity of the opposite and the energy flowing through that (Alfa, Omega and Id);

5. Versi - mixing poems into formulas (starting with Ithaka).

Mendittorosa formulas seem to belong to the times when perfume was a sacred affair, when scents were rich and generous and application of some perfume materials had a symbolic meaning. The house uses some very rare naturals too: flower absolutes, resins and balsams, spices, extracts of roots and more..
