Nissaba creates niche fragrances that embody far-flung lands where unique aromatic ingredients flourish. Combining the finest natural materials from a single origin, Nissaba’s goal is to help local communities support themselves by growing and harvesting these precious perfume elements.

After founder Sebastien Tissot’s long career sourcing sustainable natural ingredients for a major fragrance firm, he was motivated to create a brand with real positive impact: environmentally, socially and economically. Sebastien was inspired by Sumer, the oldest known civilization on Earth, the cradle of our modern world and origin of agriculture, cities, law, medicine, astronomy and writing. Nissaba was one of the oldest Sumerian deities and became the goddess of writing. Many Mesopotamian clay tablets honor her with the phrase “Nissaba be praised”.

Nissaba is cruelty free, with no dyes, stabilisers, additives or controversial ingredients. Packaging is recyclable, reusable, bio-based or upcycled where possible. The most stringent clean beauty standards are adhered to, with the origin key ingredients guaranteed.
