720 BC was the year when the city of Sybaris was founded. Its citizens stayed in history as the people who new how to indulge in sensual pleasures and savour life.

Sybarite - the word originating from the name of the city stayed in many languages as the term for "a person who is self-indulgent in their fondness for sensuous luxury."

This legendary city was based in modern day Calabria. In the perfume world this region is famous for its bergamot, lemon and other citrus oils. Some say the best citrus materials come from there.

With Spicy Calabria Maison Sybarite celebrate both the indulging spirit of sybarites and the citrus power of the region.
