Dunhuang

A stop on the ancient Silk routes, Dunhuang was the foremost trading town to be reached by foreign merchants travelling from the West. To their senses and imagination this oasis in the Gansu-Xinjiang desert would have been truly enchanting, filled with fragrances and flavors worth crossing the world for.

The eponymous perfume is filled with echoes of these times: aromas of temple incense, musky honeyed blossom of Chinese osmanthus, cured tea, spices and dried fruit.
