"Homa" is Sanskrit for a sacred fire/incense ritual in which the fumes grant healing, lighten the spirits, and drive away negative karma.

Each religion, land and culture have their own incense recipes. Homa's fire offering to deities involves fragrant medicinal herbs.

The eponymous perfume is a dark, swirling incantation of layered spices, intoxicating flowers, and an extreme amount of animalic notes: goat hair, hyraceum fossil, costus (a plant with a strong barnyard vibe), Indian and Laotian ouds, plus the corporeal warmth of myrrh, beeswax and a civet accord. The effect of this mix on one's senses is uncanny, like a portal opening into a liminal world of shadows.
